Dell upgrades XPS 12 with Haswell processors with many features
Dell company has upgraded its XPS 12 convertible laptop computer with Intel's 4th generation Haswell processor to make a dream come true of the user.
The Dell company assert that the upgrade will bring 63 percent overall presentation improvement and the XPS 12 is one.6 times faster than the previous generation being provided. It's also added an NFC chip as well as a bigger 50Wh battery to the convertible Ultrabook following which it claims that the device will last up to 8 hours & 43 minutes, over two hours over the earlier iteration.
Engadget stated that the cost of the device will stay at $1200 & it will start shipping July 9th onwards. The convertible will be obtainable in Intel Core i5 & Core i7 configurations. It will have 4GB of RAM & 128GB SSD. The updated XPS 12 also offers Gigabit Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
The XPS 12 convertible features a flip hinge design that allows simple transition from laptop computer to tablet & vice-versa. It comes with a 12.5 inch LED backlit touch display with True Life & FHD (1920x1080 pixels)resolution coated with Corning Gorilla Glass & is made up of aluminum & carbon fibre that makes it sturdy & long lasting.
In accumulation with the XPS 12, Dell also upgraded its XPS 27 all-in-one with a Haswell processor along with a new Nvidia graphics chip and a thunderbolt port. It also introduced the new XPS 8700 desktop PC which is also powered by Haswell.
