Next generation iPhone will have a Gold colour variant- Apple

iphone5s-gold-rumour.jpg

Apple would like to introduced a new and Latest - a Gold coloured variant when it launches the next generation iPhone later this year, if a brand spanking new document is to be believed.

According to Japanese Apple focused weblog, Macotakara, the iPhone 5S will be offered in a Gold coloured variant. This follows a document published last month that featured purported pics of parts part of the next generation iPhone 5S which showcased different SIM-card trays, silver & bronze/ gold coloured, leaving the slate coloured.

While it ought to be taken with a pinch of salt till they see some solid facts, the availability of multiple colour variants of iPhone has been speculated a lot of times in the recent past.

This is not the first time that Macotakara has suggested a Gold coloured iPhone. A few weeks back, it had suggested that the iPhone 5S, is likely to come in multiple colours including Gold & Green. Citing sources, it had also suggested different colours for the purported budget iPhone. While source mentioned that it would come in Navy, Gold Orange, White, & Grey colours, the second indicated White, Pink, Green, Blue, & Yellow orange colours. It is fascinating to note that none of them mentioned a Black colour variant.

In April, Macotakara had reported that the iPhone 5S would come in a lot of colours including Black & White, & that the cheaper iPhone will also come in a range of different colours. In January, Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White had said that the next iPhone might come in multiple colours & different sizes. White had predicted that the next iPhone would come in a total of eight colours.

Samsung Galaxy S4 sales 'to disappoint'

Orders for the S4 smartphone, which went on sale last month, are slowing on weak demand in Europe that may impact profit margins, analysts led by JJ Park said in a document dated yesterday, citing supply chain checks. JPMorgan cut its share- cost estimate for Samsung by 9.5 percent to one.9 million won & lowered its 2013 earnings estimates by 9 percent.

Compared to S3, S4 had stronger momentum in the first quarter of launch, the analysts wrote, affirming their fat rating on the stock. But the following quarterâs shipment is expected to be disappointing & its peak-quarter number seems way below our earlier estimates

Samsung ATIV Book 9 Review

The ATIV Book 9 sports the same alluring, blue-gray aluminum chassis of its predecessor, the Samsung Series 9 Ultrabook. The slightly raised, silver Samsung logo adds a nice dollop of flourish. Despite the thinness of this machine, Samsung is still focused on integrating graceful curves into the design, as evidenced by the soft tapering along the sides of the notebook.
The laptop's interior is swathed in more of that gorgeous, blue-gray aluminum. A small power button sits directly above the keyboard deck. The touchpad is lined in a tiny band of chrome. A small depression sits below the touchpad, providing a slot wide enough for our fingertip to open the laptop.
Samsung upgraded the ATIV Book 9's 13.3-inch display from 1600 x 900 to a full 1080p. Text in our Google Doc and on Kotaku.com looked sharp and clear. A high-def image of a ladybug crawling on a leaf was a font of deep reds and emeralds. Viewing angles were wide enough to comfortably fit three people.
You can enjoy using cam with  1.3-megapixel camera on the ATIV Book 9 captures video and stills in 1280 x 800 using Samsung's S Camera software.A USB 2.0 port and mini-VGA sit on the right side of the notebook with a combination headphone/microphone jack
Graphics powered by Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU, the Samsung ATIV Book 9 can play most casual games and high-def videos, but not much beyond that. The laptop scored 597 on the 3DMark11 benchmark, which fell short of the 726 ultraportable category average. The Kirabook (690), XPS 13 (670) and Aspire S7 (657), which also have Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPUs, all scored higher.
