Climate Change contribute to Space garbage problem

Climate Change contribute to Space garbage problem

The cause of climate change is seen in most parts of the planet, but a new study shows that it also affects the environment of space. New Scientist reports that high levels of carbon dioxide refrigerated the upper atmosphere, which reduces the thickness of the atmosphere. This in turn affects how long abandoned satellites, spent rocket boosters and other space to stay in orbit. This contributes to the issue of space debris.

Two researchers from University of Southampton in Britain, Arrun Saunders and Hugh Lewis, studied the orbits of 30 satellites over the last 40 years, they recorded a gradual increase in the time they stay in orbit. and according to them Atmosphere creates a drag braking space debris impact, and finally cause other pieces to drop out of Orbit, and burn up.

They are calculated at a height of 300 km in the atmosphere is reduced density of 5% every ten years. "In the lower molecular trapping means trash can stay in orbit to 25% more," said Lewis.

This increases the risk of collision with satellites & makes it icier to launch spacecraft. Space Agency & the commercial launch, the necessity to strengthen existing procedures to reduce space waste has taken place, including the use of voice board measures to eliminate the risk of explosions from batteries, fuel tanks & propulsion & explosive systems, which help to reduce the number of objects in orbit. Or perhaps they ought to find ways to remove the debris from the space sooner than later.
